My daughter and I spent a week in Grand Cayman in June 2001, to do our PADI Open Water Certification. We chose Ambassador Divers, initially on the basis of their website, and then gained confidence in our choice in discussions on the phone to make arrangements. The instruction quality was excellent; Jason is very professional, and made sure we really understood all of the "classroom" instruction (our classroom was on a deck overlooking the sea), before doing our pool dives. Once we started our open water instruction, the two of us had personal instruction, and also were fortunate to have either a second qualified diver or a second Divemaster on our dives to help keep an eye on us while we were gaining confidence. Jason did a great job of ensuring that we practiced our safety checks, and built our abilities with a calm and confident manner. I cannot imagine a more professional approach to instruction. After the certification dives, and the pleasure of knowing that we had qualified, we spent two more days with Ambassador, diving off the west coast. A new world was opened up: we had been focusing mainly on our instruction to this point, and although the underwater scenery and marine life had seemed outstanding in our training dives, nothing had prepared us for the stunning beauty of the diving at Eden Rock. On our last day, a dive to the wreck of the Nicholson, and then along the wall, took us further into our new world. For anyone seeking professional instruction, in a beautiful setting, I recommend Ambassador for their great attitude, relaxed and confident instruction, and personal attention. We will be back...!

Patrick and I wanted to thank you again for making our vacation this year such a memorable one. We've been recommending Ambassador Divers to our friends and colleagues that dive and have an interest in diving in the Caymans-and those that regularly dive there already. And we're busy planning our own trip back next year.

I just wanted to take a minute to share with you the reasons why we had such a great experience, because finding a good dive operator can make or break an experience-and for those of us that only get the opportunity to dive once or twice a year, it's pretty important to get this right!

We were really impressed with the professionalism of Ambassador Divers, which was evident from your expertise and the credentials that you hold, along with how well-maintained you kept the equipment and the boat. Dives were always on time and well-explained before we got in the water. The most impressive thing to us was your ability to make our dives fun and challenging while recognizing that we were both at different levels of diving. As a more novice diver, I felt completely at ease with the dives that we did and know that I improved considerably during our trip. Patrick, with much more experience than I, swears that the diving we did with Ambassador Divers was the best that he has come across-never boring or disappointing. For these reasons, we've recommended you to friends and family that dive as part of their profession, as well as friends that are more recreational divers.

We also thank you for taking the time to really personalize our dives. That's the main reason why we didn't choose to go with some of the larger operators on the island, and it was the best decision we made! For us, it's so much more fun and rewarding to dive with a smaller group, and the fact that you took the time to get to know us and listen to what we were hoping to do and see during our dives, really made our vacation perfect!

Dive with Ambassadors once and you will dive with them again. My husband, Paul, is a diver and loves Grand Cayman and loves Ambassador Divers. Jason, the Dive Instructor, certified my husband in Rescue Diving, Nitrox, and Dive Master.

Jason and Rich gave my husband the confidence to go all the way with his diving. When he was getting ready to give up, they wouldn't let him. They gave him the confidence to finish what he started. We have referred our friends to them as well. In fact, they just certified a friend of ours in Open water, Advanced and Nitrox.

Ambassador Divers will take you to so many different dive sites. They will take you to the walls, wreck dives and night dives. If you're not a diver, its okay because they take snorkelers out too.
