Jason Washington

Owner of Ambassador Divers, Master Instructor and Boat Captain, Jason has been diving in Cayman for over 15 years and has over 10,000 dives in his personal dive log. His Instructor certifications also include MFA Instructor, TDI Gas Blender, Semi-Closed-circuit Rebreather and Nitrox. Jason carefully hand picks his team from only very experienced people who have made the ocean a mainstay in their lives. This team will ensure that you have a fun, memorable and safe dive vacation!

Larry Cook

Larry has been diving Grand Cayman for over 15 years. With a total of approximately 10,000 dives in all sorts of conditions including cold water and ice diving he has many wonderful teaching tidbits to pass along to new divers. A licensed Boat Captain and Master Scuba Diver Trainer, Larry loves to show guests our resident reef creatures.

Dan and Tara Hodgins

A dynamic husband and wife team who have dedicated their life to the exploration and sharing of the ocean. With a combined total of 36 years teaching and a combined total of over 16,000 dives Dan and Tara are thrilled to share some of their favourite sites and critters with you. Both PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainers and Boat Captains, they also provide instruction in Technical Diving (deep exploration using gas mixes other than air) and Freediving (breath-hold diving). Technical courses are provided through IANTD (International Association of Nitrox & Technical Divers) and teach divers to utilize more redundant equipment configurations and exotic gas mixes to explore the deep Cayman wall safely.

Dan and Tara both competed with Team Canada in the World Freediving arena. In Ibiza, Spain in 2001 the Canadian Women’s team including Tara Hodgins, Mandy-Rae Cruikshank and Calista Johnston took the World Championship Gold! If you want to learn to improve your breath hold time in the water and explore the reefs without a tank, we are thrilled to provide 4 levels of training curriculum offered through IANTD. Skills and techniques taught during these programs not only improve breathing and air consumption for scuba but also your comfort level in the water.

Mike Goldberg

Mike started diving over 25 years ago and always dreamed of a life in the islands. After 12 years in the world of finance, he threw in the towel and moved south (too cold in Chicago!). After 14 years of running and owning his own dive business in the BVI and the Florida Keys, Mike decided to simplify his life and moved to the Cayman Islands. Mike has been teaching for 16 years and has certified hundreds of divers. His greatest passions are teaching children and underwater photography/videography.

Mike is a Master Scuba Diver Trainer and is a licensed 50 ton U.S. Coast Guard Captain.
